Frequently asked questions
The details, without the guesswork.
Start with pricing, the work or your data. Each answer states what is included and where the limits are.
Pricing and access
What does it cost?
Three published tiers, priced on the client workspace rather than the seat. Starter is $249 a month with 1 workspace. Growth is $549 with 3 and is the tier most teams want. Agency is $1,199 with 10. Enterprise starts around $1,800 for 25 or more. Annual billing takes roughly two months off. Viewer seats are unlimited on every tier, and classified records and AI allowances are pooled across your workspaces.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Fourteen days, every feature on, one client workspace, no card. Self-serve checkout is not live yet, so the trial workspace is set up during the early-access conversation rather than by a button, and it converts to a tier by invoice if you continue.
Why publish prices at all?
Because the tools this replaces do not. Listening incumbents are sales-led, annual-locked and seat-metered, with a quote you get after three calls. Publishing the number is part of the position, and it lets you compare before you talk to anyone.
What are metered sources, and why are they not bundled?
Instagram, TikTok, Reddit at volume, Facebook and review sites cost per result to collect. Bundling them would either inflate every tier or quietly cap them. Growth and Agency include access to them; collecting uses prepaid source credits in $50, $150 and $500 blocks, under a hard organisation-level daily budget that throttles at the ceiling and emails an admin at 80%.
What happens when we reach a limit?
That feature pauses until the next month or an upgrade, and you are told before it happens, at 80% and at 100%. Nothing is billed as overage. If you reach the classified-record cap, new records keep arriving and wait for classification, and everything already collected stays readable and exportable. Talk to us and we can grant one-time relief while you decide.
The work and the output
Who is Caerus for?
Agencies managing a roster of client brands, and in-house communications or brand teams watching their own. Everything is organised as one organisation with client workspaces underneath it, so an agency with twelve clients and a team with one both fit. Caerus is intelligence, not social media management: it does not publish, schedule or run an inbox.
How often does Caerus sweep?
Every 2 hours on every tier, and every 6 hours during the trial. Two hours is the ceiling today: the scheduler processes clients one after another on a single instance, so faster cadence is not advertised until that changes.
Does Caerus use AI?
Yes, and it shows its work. Records are scored and classified automatically. Compass answers questions by reading the workspace's own collected records and citing them. The executive summary in a brief is drafted by the model with citations, and a named person edits and approves it before it leaves. Observations, inferences and recommendations stay labelled as what they are.
Are the demo metrics real customer results?
No. The demonstration workspace watches real public sources for six brands we do not represent. The records are real and the counts are real, but the brands are not customers, and nothing shown there is a testimonial, benchmark or claim about results.
Can a brief be sent to a client automatically?
No. The model drafts, the evidence is attached, and a named reviewer approves the brief before it exports. A brief that leaves the product has a person's name on it.
Your data and your terms
What happens if a source or AI provider fails?
Existing records stay available. Freshness and source health are shown per platform on the collection page, retries are bounded, and a feature that depends on an unavailable provider fails visibly rather than inventing output.
Can I connect my data today?
Yes, for the sources on your tier. Free and keyed sources connect during onboarding: news, Bluesky, YouTube, Reddit RSS, forums, podcasts and app-store reviews among them. Metered sources need a credit block and a sign-off. Anything not on the integrations page is not available, and we would rather say so than hint.
What is agreed before we start?
The permitted sources and who owns the credentials, workspace owners, retention, export and deletion, support hours, the metered budget ceiling, and the renewal date. The security page lists the operating commitments behind that.
Can we cancel and delete our data?
Every tier is month to month with a 30-day cancellation window, and annual billing is a discount rather than a lock. Export is available from the organisation settings, and deletion follows the timing written into your order form.
Have a specific roster in mind?
Tell us the clients you would watch and the sources you can use. This site does not create a subscription, charge a card or connect a provider.
